Privacy Policy

Meisterhaus Dashboard · Meisterhaus Inc. · Effective 8 September 2026

Meisterhaus Dashboard has no external users. It is private, internal software used by Meisterhaus Inc. against its own QuickBooks Online company. It collects no information from the public, has no sign-up, and serves no customers of its own.

What the Application accesses

When authorized by a QuickBooks Online administrator of Meisterhaus Inc., the Application accesses the Meisterhaus company file through the Intuit Accounting API. Specifically it reads:

It writes only one thing: the class (project) assignment on a transaction that Meisterhaus has already recorded, so that internal job-cost reporting is accurate. It does not create, delete or alter amounts, dates, payees or accounts.

What it does not access

The Application does not request or use payroll records, employee records, banking credentials, or payment card data. It does not access any QuickBooks Online company other than the Meisterhaus Inc. company it is authorized against.

How data is stored

Data retrieved by the Application is used to produce internal reports for Meisterhaus and is stored on systems controlled by Meisterhaus. OAuth credentials and tokens are stored locally, are excluded from version control, and are not transmitted to any third party. The Application has no shared database and no public interface.

Sharing

Meisterhaus does not sell, rent or share data obtained through the Application with any third party. The only parties with access are Meisterhaus staff and engaged contractors performing accounting and operations work for Meisterhaus.

Retention and deletion

Reports generated by the Application are retained as ordinary business records of Meisterhaus. Authorization can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online, after which the Application can no longer access the company. On revocation, stored tokens are deleted.

Security

Access uses Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization. Tokens are refreshed automatically and stored with restricted file permissions on Meisterhaus-controlled systems. No credentials are embedded in the Application's source.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
